“Utilitywise went out of their way to help over and above the standard gas and electricity contract. We needed EPCs at very short notice and they were willing to pull out all the stops to arrange this for us at a good price. We are very happy with the service so far and would recommend Utilitywise to other businesses.”

Michelle Gillard
Accountant, Pharmacy

“The service provided by Utilitywise on the EPC assessment on our HQ at County Hall was exceptionally good. The assessor went the extra mile to understand our needs and engage us in the process so that all relevant factors were taken into account to produce an accurate assessment that reflected the true energy performance of the buildings. For example, the assessor obtained the results of performance tests on the efficiency of the installed boilers instead of using less accurate default values. The assessor also provided added value by modelling different energy improvements scenarios that would produce the greatest improvement in the EPC rating to help inform our priorities for future building works.”

Bob Baber
Programme Manager, Somerset County Council

“I was very impressed with the thoroughness, technical detail and presentation of the report and recommendations for our AC Inspections. I shall try and include as many of your  recommendations in our budget for next year as possible, and as part of planned maintenance and refurbishment works. Although we have had to comply with legislation, I did however find this process very useful. Thank you once again.”

Robin Evans
Centre Manager, Enterprise First

“We chose Utilitywise to undertake our Air Conditioning Inspections as they are experienced energy professionals. Our AC inspector ‘hit the ground running,’ relieving a lot of the aggravation associated with the process. He liaised directly with each site FM, and produced honest and accurate reports in a timely, professional manner – a great service from start to finish.”

Vijay Chouhan
National Energy and Environmental Manager, O2

“I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you, Lawrence, for all your help and patience with our recent utility transfer. As a charity, it can be a bit daunting looking at changing suppliers and signing up for very long periods when you’re not 100% sure of your future because of funding issues.

“Having said that, you made it all simple, expedient and entirely pain-free. Thanks again for your help and for your continuing availability for any utility-related questions. I would absolutely recommend you and your company to other charities in the future.”

Fiona McRoberts
Support Services Manager, Charity

“I would like to thank you and your colleagues for the assistance you provided in the organisation of our electricity bills and the recouping of monies paid. Your friendly, well-organised service made the process very simple and straightforward. I would be happy to use the services of Utilitywise again in the future.”

Mairi Henderson
Practice Manager

“Here at Albirr Foundation we have six locations and we didn’t pay much attention to our energy bills and whether we were in a contract or not. This all changed when Brother Yehia contacted us. At first I thought he was just another salesperson, but what was different about him is that he genuinely wanted to save us money and most importantly he was persistent and didn’t give up until he had won us over. He really opened up our eyes and showed us how much money we could be saving.”

“We are a social enterprise that provides Advocacy and Training for adults with learning disabilities, difficulties and vulnerabilities across the county of Carmarthenshire. We are a Member-led and Member-focused organisation where all Members have some sort of support issue. We recently moved into larger premises so that we can expand the services that we offer our Members. We now have weekly group sessions and a drop-in facility where people come to socialise and gain important skill sets. Utilitywise has been so helpful in getting us a new utility contract. The service is excellent – we have a single point of contact for any queries. Jodi takes on all the hard work that we as a small business would find frustrating. We would definitely recommend this service to other charitable agencies. Thank you once again, Jodi.”

“Phil has been really professional from the time I started dealing with him back in April. At the time we were unsure about our contracts with energy suppliers due to great upheaval at the centre.  Phil was helpful all the way, really professional about the way he conducted conversations, and even before he had the centre as a client, identified problems with the account we had got and helped us to sort it all out. He identified that we were paying tax too high as a charity, something our own supplier did not point out to us even though they knew we were a charity. As a result, Phil got over £800 back to the centre, which is a large sum of money for a little community centre. As a result, the board decided to go with Utilitywise as a broker as they fully appreciated the work Phil had put in, and how concerned he was about our community centre. Since Phil has been helping we have had problems which he has immediately helped us with, and it is such a good thing to have on the end of the phone to help us through. He has also highlighted all the different training and advice that Utilitywise offers us now we are a client, and has been professional, extremely helpful and a real help to us throughout.”

“Utilitywise is a brilliant company, they take all the stress and hassle out of looking for better energy deals. I have an energy account manager (Chris) who kept me updated on what was happening. I would certainly recommend Utilitywise and Chris in particular to other businesses. Thank you, Utilitywise and Chris.”
