Management Development and Sales Training Manager Cheryl Lee shares her Utilitywise success story

What do you like about working at Utilitywise? 

I love the fast-paced environment, which can sometimes be challenging. I am excited about our company’s strategy and our roadmap for achieving our goals.

What was your first role here at Utilitywise? How have you progressed?

My first role was an Operations Manager in the Telesales. After six months, I was successful in gaining a position in the Learning & Development team, focusing on management, coaching and development and Field Sales training.

What moment are you most proud of in your career with Utilitywise?

I’m extremely proud of the implementation of the Field Sales Ignite Foundation Programme, which delivered a 100% increase in key metrics within the first 3 months.

Was progression originally what you desired in your career with Utilitywise?

Yes, my plan was to enhance my career. By stepping into this role, I have acquired a new set of skills which will support me when I eventually move onto my next role.

What did you do to get where you are today?

I worked hard, demonstrated resilience and determination.  I took control of my own destiny by being proactive and seeking out opportunities.  I was confident in my own ability.

What would be your advice to other colleagues wanting to progress within the company?

Take control of your own destiny!
