We’re looking for an enthusiastic and conscientious individual to join our Corporate Bid Team, based in our Redditch office.

Bid Assistant

Location:  UK, Redditch

The Role

The Bid Assistant position is focused on the ongoing creation of client and prospect proposal documents to be used by the sales and account management teams, while also supporting the wider Bid team.


  • Produce accurate proposal documents from pre-agreed templates;
  • Prioritise urgent requests to ensure all deadlines are met;
  • Help to create bespoke proposal documentation where required;
  • Update database and spreadsheets to track workload;
  • Produce a monthly report highlighting proposals generated and success rate;
  • Liaise with marketing and sales colleagues;
  • Update proposal templates as our service offering develops;
  • Where required, assist with first stage tender documentation such as PQQs and RFIs;
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the wider Sales team as and when required.

Personal Qualities, Aptitudes, and Skills

  • The ideal candidate will have had previous experience in a similar role;
  • Excellent written and verbal skills;
  • Professional outlook;
  • First class organisation skills, able to prioritise varying workloads;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Confident with MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • The role requires an individual who is an excellent team player with a friendly disposition;
  • Ideally degree educated.
