Utilitywise win Energy Buying Team of the year at TELCA 2017

Utilitywise win Energy Buying Team of the year at TELCA 2017

We’ve known it for a long time, now we’re delighted to confirm we have an award-winning energy buying team!

On 28 June, The Energy Live Consultancy Awards (TELCAs) 2017, took place at the Honourable Artillery Grounds in London.

TELCA recognises “the best of the best TPIs in the industry”. It was a fantastic evening full of celebration even for the hosts, Energy Live News, having recently won their own award for Best New Awards at the inaugural Award Awards ceremony!

The night was particularly exciting for all here at Utilitywise as we’d been nominated for a staggering four awards.

Our moment in the spotlight

We won the award for Energy Buying Team of the year and we’re absolutely delighted! This achievement reflects our dedication to delivering and upholding a high level of service and market knowledge to our clients.

Energy Buying Team TELCA

A winning Energy Buying Team

We pride ourselves on our knowledge and understanding of the energy market; our people are highly regarded within the industry and are specialists in their respective fields.

We offer our clients a range of both fixed and flexible procurement options. Our goal is to ensure that clients are able to make informed decisions relating to their energy needs and select suitable contracts catered to their individual circumstances. Since 2014 we’ve locked in £63,000,000 of savings for our flexible procurement clients.

Providing market-leading intelligence

Our specialist team has extensive knowledge of the electricity, gas, water, oil, coal and carbon markets, and the fundamentals driving them. We are able to provide a range of easily digestible market reports depending on our clients’ needs. One key area where we can help is Triad forecasts.

During the winter of 2016/17 we hit all three Triad periods, issuing just ten red alerts, lower than any other TPI or supplier.

By issuing fewer alerts we ensure our clients are not unnecessarily disrupted from their day-to-day business practices.

We can also offer clients a Long-Term Price Forecast Report which details delivered pricing for the next five years and illustrates the growing proportion of non-commodity costs; it can be referenced when making critical business decisions and justifying investment opportunities.

Team success

Congratulations to all at Utilitywise for this incredible achievement! We’re proud to hold this award and we look forward to further success in the future.
