Leading utility consultancy links up with Apex Radio Systems as 25,000th enterprise customer.
Utilitywise, Tyneside’s leading independent utility consultancy, has reached a huge milestone and is now helping its 25,000th enterprise customer. The market leader has started working with fellow North East Chamber of Commerce member and two-way radio experts Apex Radio Systems Ltd. to help them get the most value from their energy.
Apex Radio Systems Ltd., who are also celebrating 25 years in business, hire and sell high quality walkie talkies to big names including Newcastle United Football Club, Nestlé, Marriott and Boots. A family run business from Denton Burn, they are the official distributor for leading worldwide brands including Motorola and Kenwood and provide technical support and rapid response repairs for their clients.
Utilitywise has flourished since its beginnings in 2006 and having gone through an IPO in 2012, it now employs over 1,500 staff in the UK and across Europe. Sticking to its Tyneside roots, it relocated from South Shields to North Tyneside’s Cobalt Business Park in 2014 to allow for much needed room in the ever expanding business. The latest set of company results posted revenue figures of almost £70 million.
