Energy management consultancy Utilitywise is to host a local seminar event to support businesses on how to survive changes that are coming in legislation coming this year with the introduction of the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS).

The scheme will see mandatory regulations put which will require larger companies to audit their energy use, with the aim of reducing their consumption.

Taking place on Tuesday 24th February in Aberdeen, the free seminar will outline these changes and instruct businesses on how they can benefit from them and be prepared.  Aimed at business owners, managing directors, finance directors, operations directors or senior management, Utilitywise will assist those who want to learn how to best manage their utilities and make their business more energy efficient.

In addition to information on ESOS, the seminar will also address concerns about water procurement and the Electricity Market Reform (EMR), which will both have significant impacts on larger business in the year ahead.

The seminar will take place from 1:30pm until 3pm at the Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce in Aberdeen Energy Park.

Businesses wishing to attend can Kelly.lock@utilitywise.com to register their interest.
