Utilitywise, formerly ‘Commercial Utility Brokers Ltd’, changed trading names in March 2010 and instigated a re-branding following significant expansion of our client service portfolio.
We felt as a company over time that ‘Commercial Utility Brokers Ltd’ inferred we offered little more than a business energy market bench-marking or tendering and quotation service. With the introduction of ‘Edd:e’, our own AMR reporting package, our in-house energy services division and consultancy, we are capable now of offering broad levels of energy involvement according to individual client needs.
Prior to incorporation in June 2006, the senior management team of Utilitywise gained significant industry experience operating in business process outsourcing on behalf of a number of major energy suppliers, managing business to business and residential customer acquisition campaigns, in addition to designing billing platforms.
The energy third-party-intermediary space is going through a consolidation presently; many smaller brokers and consultants struggle to sustain direct energy supplier relationships through which to place business electricity and gas contracts. Many trade through Utilitywise to gain access to customer service levels and pricing unobtainable elsewhere. As our internal growth continues, alongside the development of a strong sub-broker affiliate network, our buying power is ever-improving, meaning Utilitywise clients benefit from unrivalled service and supply contract pricing.
